Got Confidence? Bartolo Colon does.  He was phenomenal pitching 8 solid innings and only giving up 1 run.  Not much was needed from the bullpen tonight since Colon did most of the work.  Mariano came in for the save in the ninth to shut the door on the White Sox.  I’m glad that MO got the save today because he has blown back to back saves in the last 2 games.    Although the Yanks are behind in the series, tonight’s game was a great bounce back game.  The offense was solid tonight with Cano’s homer and hits by Jeter, Teixeira, and Rodriguez.   I was really impressed by Bartolo Colon’s last two starts and he is pitching great in his starting role.  Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman said he doesn’t expect to see Phil Hughes back anytime soon.  He underwent a number of tests over the past 2 days.

Tomorrow the Bombers play the White Sox again for the conclusion of this 4 game series.  The Yankees will be looking to tie up this series and end this series with 2 games a piece.
